Childhood can be magical, and no more so than during the holidays. The darkness lights up, delicious smells fill the home and families come together. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
One of the first stops on the holiday countdown is decorating the tree. It’s personal choice as to when the tree goes up (some early birds even opt for November), but one thing can be universally agreed: it will take a long time. Preschoolers make enthusiastic helpers but, thanks to their elf-sized attention spans, they can’t always go the decorating distance. When your little one’s creation is complete, find a branch or two on the family tree to display it (you can also show it off on our Facebook page). Take a picture of your little one stood next to the tree, then do the same next year, and the year after that. It will become a unique record of how your child, and their abilities, grow and grow.
