Through our peer support programs and supported Playgroups we support families who are experiencing isolation or need support. These programs help us reach out to families who may otherwise miss out on the fantastic experience of Playgroup.
The vision of the Ngurra Connected Beginnings Wagga Program is to provide all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children birth -5 years of age, living in Wagga Wagga with a great start, by improving their wellbeing prior to school, with a specific focus across education, health and family services.
MyTime support groups are a national initiative for parents and carers of children aged 0-18 years with disability or a chronic medical condition. MyTime is an opportunity for members to socialise and share ideas with other parents and carers.
PALS provides exposure for mainstream families to an inclusive playgroup setting, to inform their understanding and practice of inclusivity. PALS increases the opportunity for children with disability to connect with others in their community, participate in community activity and to develop social and play skills.
PlayConnect+ is an evidence-based early intervention program specifically designed for children with ASD or ASD-like characteristics. We also offer peer support opportunities for parents, carers, and siblings. We believe that building a strong support network is crucial for families on this journey.
The Play Strong Program is a supported playgroup providing a high-quality early learning program, capacity building and empowering parents and carers, and connecting and creating pathways to preschool.
Sutherland Supported Playgroup is a community of mums, dads, grandparents and carers who attend the Supported Playgroups in the Sutherland Shire. Playgroup NSW supported playgroups are led by qualified early childhood educators, giving families the opportunity to meet other families in the community and connect with their children through play.
Timeless Play is an intergenerational program and service that is a committed response to reducing the impact social isolation can have on the overall health and wellbeing of the older generations. Intergenerational Playgroups provide an opportunity for multi-generational play and fun in both aged-care and community settings.
Playgroup NSW leads play-based programs and services for NSW families with children birth to school age, offering development, shared experiences, and family support, that results in active citizens and inclusive communities.
