Playgroup NSW is a not-for-profit organisation helping to connect families and children to people and services in the community to positively impact their quality of life. We believe that every family deserves access to high-quality play-based experiences that support their child's development.
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Playgroup NSW, and we are always looking to welcome new volunteers to help us deliver programs and services to families across NSW.
We also offer organisations the opportunity to offer the time and skills of their teams to help us deliver our mission.

Why Volunteer? There is a range of flexible volunteering opportunities to fit a wide range of skills, schedules and interests, from Playgroup Coordinators, Treasurers and Playgroup Facilitators to administrative and strategic opportunities for organisations.
- We provide our Playgroup volunteers with comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure they feel confident and equipped to carry out their roles.
- All volunteer roles within Community Playgroups hold significant responsibility, helping our volunteers feel valued.

DID YOU KNOW: You don’t need to be a parent to volunteer with us! We have a range of volunteers of all ages, with and without children.
I wanted to give something back to Playgroups. My mum went to Playgroup and made lifelong friends, and as a result so did I. I wanted to create that for other mums.
