Hello everyone,
I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to each of our volunteers.
Your time, energy and commitment make an enormous difference to children, families and communities across NSW. Whether you support a local playgroup, help families feel welcome, contribute behind the scenes, or share your skills and experience, your contribution is deeply valued.
Playgroups are built on connection, belonging and community. Volunteers are at the heart of making this possible. You help create safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces where families can meet, children can learn through play, and parents and carers can feel supported.
Over the coming period, Sarah and her team will be reviewing how we support, engage and recognise our volunteers. This will help us better understand what is working well, where we can improve, and how we can strengthen the volunteer experience across Playgroup NSW.
From this review, we will develop a practical plan to support our volunteers and ensure you have the information, tools and connection you need to continue making a positive impact in your local communities.
