Summary: Making hand and footprints is just as much fun for you as it is for your baby or toddler. Stamping your baby's paint-covered hands and feet provides an experience that also assists in their social development and sensory awareness.

  • Use non-toxic paint and apply to your baby’s feet using either a paintbrush or your fingertips

OR

  • Place paint in a flat tray and stand your baby’s feet in the tray. Lift out and walk on paper or fabric

This activity is best done with two adults. You can repeat this activity every few months to track the development of your child. Hand and footprints on some fabric or T-shirts make great mementos for the family.
