The Peep Learning Together Programme Training is for practitioners supports parents and children to learn together. The program contains over 70 topics covering five strands of development that is mapped to both AEDC data and the EYLF.
The training equips practitioners to:
• engage and support parents to build on what they already do to enhance their baby’s or child’s early communication and learning (contributing to school-readiness), through talking and playing as part of everyday life,
• explore practical ideas, strategies and resources focused on parenting in the early years,
• use the PEEP topics, activities and handouts in kinder sessions,
• deliver universal or targeted sessions with parents and children together, to meet local needs – in one-to-one, home visits, group or drop-in sessions; supported playgroup and parents groups, in person or virtually.
What’s included:
• two days of training
• Access to the entire PEEP Learning Together Programme, topics, session plans, handouts for parents and activity sheets.
• ongoing support including supervision, communities of practice, 1:1 mentoring and implementation support as needed
Fees:
• $885 +GST per practitioner. Discount available when you have more than two PEEP practitioners trained in your organisation:
• $685 +GST discounted rate for 3rd and all after PEEP practitioners from the same organisation.
Peep Learning Together Training is run over 2 days online via Zoom from 9.30am – 3.30pm. Groups are kept small to ensure an interactive and collaborative learning environment.
