O’Connell

The main objective of O’Connell Playgroup is to provide a safe space for the local children aged 0-5yrs to play together and allow friendships to grow.
There are a wide range of activities laid out for the day including craft, reading, group sing a longs and individual play. Parents are asked to bring along a piece of fruit for the children to share and enjoy together for morning tea.
O’Connell playgroup has been running in the valley for over 40 years, changing hands over the years and now being run by the parents of the children in the local area whilst being affiliated with Playgroup NSW.
It is a great space that brings the local children together and also, as we are a rural community, allows parents to connect, have a cup of tea and provide support to one another.
