Sisters Renee and Nicole have been actively involved with Playgroup NSW since they were young.

Oyster Bay Joeys Playgroup volunteer coordinator Renee Burgess attends with her young son Benjamin. Her sister, Nicole, is the playgroup’s treasurer. When they were little, their mother Sue took them to a group in Woronora, of which she was a committee member. Such active involvement has fostered Renee’s appreciation for the unique experience playgroup offers children.

Oyster Bay Joeys “is so well resourced -- with so much fun, engaging equipment to provide some really wonderful experiences that we couldn't create at home,” Renee says.

“Having a caring network of wonderful people around you like we do at playgroup," she adds, "can be such a huge support in those moments when parenting can be challenging.”
