We had a wonderful morning with our friends at McQuoin Aged Care Centre and our Parramatta Start Strong Playgroup.

The hybrid face-to-face and Virtual Playgroup session was a collaborative effort with our wonderful partners at LEGO who supplied mountains of DUPLO for both groups to play with.

The children so enjoyed meeting their new friends with one of our participants, Harry exclaiming, "Mum is that Nanna?"

Intergenerational Playgroups are a wonderful opportunity to connect older Australians with the younger generation and give them a renewed sense of respect as well as an understanding of new technologies and parenting techniques. It's also educational for our younger participants to learn how to engage with elders.
