In celebration of World Children's Day on Wednesday 20 November, Playgroup NSW, in partnership with LEGO DUPLO, is hosting a special webinar with parenting expert Gen Muir to help parents, carers and early childhood educators navigate tricky behaviours through play.
From navigating tantrums to getting your little ones to listen, the session will equip you with practical, play-based solutions for common challenges. This one-off webinar will explore the power of play in strengthening family connections, supporting emotional development, and enriching the lives of children and their caregivers.
You're invited! Join us as we celebrate International Day of People with Disability at our Ropes Crossing All Abilities Play Day. This FREE family event will have a range of fun-filled activities including face-painting, balloon twisting, morning tea and give you access to information with local disability providers!

There is also a downloadable collection of books, songs and other materials you can watch read and listen to help you have impactful conversations within your Playgroup
"We are thrilled to introduce Generation Playtime as a unique initiative to foster community connections and increase social participation among older Australians," said Nadene Lee, CEO of Playgroup NSW. "The ABC Program Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds, which Playgroup organisations nationally were involved in, proved the value and immense benefit of engaging older Australians in experiences with younger people. Through Generation Playtime, we are now making these experiences more accessible for the broader population, with the aim to strengthening relationships and creating local connections for all participants."
Playgroup NSW is excited to present Westfield Playgroups, at select Westfield Shopping Centres.
