Welcome to our new CEO

Playgroup NSW is pleased to welcome Nadene Lee as our new CEO. She brings extensive management experience in corporate environments and a knowledge and passion for not-for-profits to the role.

Having attended her local playgroup with her two sons, Nadene has a personal understanding about the benefits for children and parents of attending playgroup.

As CEO, Nadene will lead our organisation to build on our legacy of making a positive impact for children, families and communities.

Playing Nice: Toddler Social Development

Toddlers are constant companions for parents, until they learn the joys of socialising with other kids.

Our friends at LEGO have created a fun and informative infographic using DUPLO® bricks depicting the first flutters, quirks and future of toddler friendships.

Happy Birthday to Us!

This month Playgroup NSW is celebrating 45 years of dedication to supporting families and strengthening local communities through playgroups. Thank you to the thousands of parents, carers, volunteers, staff and partners who have been a part of our wonderful movement.  And, of course, thank you to all the beautiful and amazing children who’ve benefitted from attending playgroup throughout the years.

In celebration of our 45th birthday, we’ve produced a fun, short video which we hope you enjoy. Thanks to all the playgroups and others who contributed to it.
