Early intervention program specifically designed for children with ASD or ASD-like characteristics

“Unlike one-to-one therapeutic interventions, PlayConnect+ encourages social interaction and peer-to-peer engagement for both the children attending and their families. PlayConnect+ clearly addresses some important gaps in the system.”

Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth, 2020

About PlayConnect+

PlayConnect+ playgroups provide inclusive play opportunities to all children with disability and/or developmental concerns to participate, engage, and enjoy themselves in a safe and engaging environment. Family Testimonials

"We love going to playgroup, the smaller group means that my grandson feels safe and not overwhelmed and is able to participate in the activities."

"My son has come out of his shell a lot more in group environments with other children since attending PlayConnect+. Since attending playgroup, he is slowly but surely starting to play with other kids outside of playgroup which is just amazing to see."

"When I arrived my son was so closed off, but week by week and with the help of facilitator we grew strong as team and gave [child] opportunity to open up in his way... thanks to this group he is preschool ready and I'm so truly blessed to have that"
