Summary: Magnets are fascinating objects, especially to children. Playing with magnets helps develop their cognitive and fine motor skills, and encourages their inquisitive nature.

All you need for this activity is a magnet and a collection of metal and non-metal items.

Encourage children to touch the items using the magnet to see what happens.

You can give them a little challenge: how many object can they pick up at once using the magnet.

Note: Steer children away from electronic equipment while they are playing with magnets.
