End of Year Wrap Up

With 2015 drawing to a close, Playgroup NSW would like to thank our members throughout the year, for sharing the joy of playing, learning and connecting. We hope that you have enjoyed being part of your playgroup during the year and look forward to welcoming you back in 2016.

Our community playgroups are run by volunteer committees who dedicate their time to ensure their local playgroup thrives. Without them, these groups would not exist. On behalf of Playgroup NSW and over 9,000 members and their families who attend community playgroups, we extend our appreciation to our 1,000 plus volunteers for their hard work, generosity and passion.

Playgroup NSW would like to wish you all a very happy and safe festive season.

Playgroup NSW Christmas/New Year Office Closure

Our office will be closed from Wednesday, 23 December 2015 and re-open on Monday, 4th January 2016. If you have an enquiry during this period, you can email admin@playgroupnsw.org.au and we will respond when we return.

Play AND CRAFT ActiviTIES

Christmas Clay Ornaments

Kids love clay, and they especially love cutting and pressing things into clay. Take advantage of this and use their creative talents to decorate your home for Christmas!

Sponge throwing

Children are fascinated with sponges - especially when they are wet. Sponge throwing can get them outside on a nice day and keep them entertained while developing their fine motor skills.

OUR PROGRAMS

A playgroup for everyone

We want to remind all of our current members and the many thousands of other subscribers who read our newsletter that we offer a playgroup for everybody.

There are community playgroups catering to a range of children from babies to school age, playgroups for socially isolated families, for disadvantaged families, Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse families. There are playgroups specifically for dads, for grandparents and for same-sex parent families. There are playgroups that provide peer support for families and grandparents of children with a disability.

Visit Our Programs for more information about the different groups we offer or, go straight to our Find a Playgroup page.
