Playgroup Tools

At Playgroup NSW we are continuously reinventing the world of play for babies, toddlers and young children. We do so by developing reliable tools and resources that support our volunteer playgroup committee members to start and run playgroups in their community. Scroll down to discover the tools you can benefit from when you start a playgroup in your area.

We also have a Playgroup Stories section on our website with articles from the media as well as our Playgroup of the month which highlights the unforgettable experiences for children, parents and carers at playgroup.

This assessment form will help you assess your playgroups risk at a session level when you want to do a quick and easy safety spot check.

Babies are an important and special part of any playgroup. This guide will help you build an inviting baby corner for your playgroup that will be enjoyed by parents and their little people.

Toy inventories are important documents for Playgroups. Once complete they act as proof of ownership which is vital should you have a break in, fire or other issues which would affect your resources. Once you have completed your inventory send a copy to Playgroup NSW for safekeeping.

Arriving at playgroup for the first time can be a very daunting experience. Many families will feel uneasy or shy in this situation and find it hard to introduce themselves to others.
