Corporate Partners

Playgroup NSW is one Australia’s first and most important social networks for families with young children. For more than 40 years, we’ve been bringing families together to play, learn, connect and have fun. We’ve partnered with many organisations to provide services in communities, promote shared values and ideas and take information and great products to families. We work with organisations and companies that have a passion and vision closely linked to ours.

As part of the playgroup movement nationally, we can connect with our colleagues in every state and territory.

Why Partner with us?

Partnering with Playgroup NSW means:

  • Connecting with our membership of families with children aged 0 – 5 years across NSW (that’s around 20,000 children and parents/carers coming to playgroup every week)
  • Reach into 70 percent of NSW postcodes through our services and playgroups
  • Targeting your brand and product at an emotive level, enabling you to build increasing trust with consumers.

Service Partnerships

Our strategic partners:

Crayola and Playgroup NSW have a long standing partnership that benefits both organisations. Crayola provides our organisation with its high quality educational products particularly for young children. This support enables thousands of toddlers and pre-schoolers who attend our playgroups and the many special events we hold throughout the year to actively engage with these iconic, quality educational products.

Kinderling Kids Radio is Playgroup NSW’s inaugural media partner.  A free 24/7 radio station for parents and young children, Kinderling is available on digital radio, online and via a free app,  We share a commitment to strengthening child and family wellbeing, supporting parents and very importantly—having fun!  Through this partnership, established in 2016, via our website and social media, Playgroup NSW  shares Kinderling interviews and editorial about advice on kids, health and relationships.  Kinderling provides Playgroup NSW  with valuable on-air exposure.

Playgroup NSW and LEGO® DUPLO® are both committed to supporting learning through play. In 2016 they teamed up to help playgroups affiliated with Playgroup NSW discover learning through play with DUPLO bricks. This initiative provides playgroups with DUPLO bricks and encourages them to discover, create and use social media to share their creations and create engagement. LEGO was also a major sponsor of Playgroup NSW's National Playgroup Week signature event, World's Biggest Playgroup Day.

Modern Teaching Aids (MTA) has partnered with Playgroup NSW since 2016, to provide high quality educational toys and resources to our playgroups. MTA was the first Australian company to sell value for money educational products to schools and early childhood centres and is committed to developing and sourcing educational products that inspire children and parents.  All playgroups receive a discount with MTA, as well as free toys and resources when they sign up for an MTA account.  MTA also provides playgroups with easy and effective fundraising via their Chalk and Parent Direct program.

In homes where there are small children, safety is an important issue. With this in mind, in early 2017, Playgroup NSW partnered with Australian Red Cross to offer our members substantial individual or group discounts on popular Red Cross First Aid courses. Click for course details and how to book.

Playgroup NSW has partnered with Sendle since 2016, parcel pick-up and delivery services at low, flat-rates right to our members’ home or playgroups. Playgroup NSW are pleased to be able to offer our members a cost-effective postage option that is also 100% carbon neutral. Sendle offers all Playgroup NSW members a free Premium account, which gives further discounted prices on shipping across Australia. Playgroup NSW is committed to innovation and is proud to share this approach with such a successful new Australian company.

Why start a playgroup?

  • You would like to transition a mother’s group or new parent’s group to a playgroup

If your local mother’s or new parent’s group is interested in continuing to meet as your children get older, forming a playgroup is a great option.

Often parents will find it difficult to continue to meet at cafes or in similar environments once children are older and more active. Playgroup provides a dedicated space for children to play, allowing parents to continue to connect.

  • There is no local playgroup

If you don’t have a playgroup close to home, why not consider starting one? Not only is this more convenient for local parents, it also helps bring communities together.

  • You would like to focus on a language, culture or particular interest

Playgroup NSW provides a range of special interest playgroups including culturally specific playgroups, grandparent’s playgroups, LGBTI playgroups and disability-focused playgroups. If you’re looking for a playgroup with a special interest or focus, we can help you start one.
